This blog's goal is to trigger discussion on the importance of African unity. Although there are many challenges to the realization of this goal, my articles will touch upon issues throughout the African continent and attempt to construct a general argument on the challenges to African unity, and how it is a very possible dream. My title suggests that development is something I find important, i am hesitant to use that term as it is a western conception created for a western world and has been wrongly applied to the discourse of Africa. This blog, i hope, will stimulate conversation on how Africa, my specialty being Southern Africa, can improve to a point where we are comfortable and able to dictate our relationships to outside world using our own discourse.
